Community Groups

Human beings are made for relationships. Made for a relationship with our Creator. And made to be in relationships with other people. And yet, many of us are busy, disconnected, and alone. Community groups are a vehicle for building and deepening relationships. From September to May, we have groups that meet to care for each other, talk about life, study the Bible, and pray together. Then, on the 4th Sunday of each month,  we have a church wide fellowship to sing and pray together. And of course, there’s usually food involved! If you’d like more information about any of our groups, please contact us and let us know.

Wright Group

Our group meets on the east side of Spartanburg every 1st and 3rd Wednesday night of the month at 6:30. We meet for dinner and have pizza one week and a planned meal the other. On the second Sunday we eat out together after church. We have both young children and youth-aged children. The older ones help with the younger ones during study time. At this point we are small and flexible. Meetings have centered around discussion of the sermon from the previous Sunday, prayer, and fellowship.

Kendrick Group

Join us weekly at the Kendricks’ house for food and fellowship as we talk about faith and applying God’s word in the context of the young adult/young professional life – open to young marrieds and singles. We meet after worship on Sunday.

Groover Group

We meet on Sundays from 5:30 – 7:30, eat, hang out, discuss the sermon, and pray together. We have several small children in our group, but are open to all. We have a ton of fun, and we aim to be open, honest, and vulnerable with each other.
